Privacy Policy

This policy explains how QPoint handles personal data when businesses, their teams, and customers use our website, loyalty services, and wallet passes.

01

Who this policy covers

This policy applies when you visit the QPoint website, create or use a QPoint account, join a merchant loyalty program powered by QPoint, or interact with a QPoint wallet pass. A participating merchant may also have its own privacy notice for the customer information it controls.

02

Information we collect

Depending on how you use QPoint, we may collect:

  • Account details such as your name, email address, phone number, and login records.
  • Business information such as a merchant name, address, branding, team members, and loyalty-program settings.
  • Loyalty activity such as enrollment, points or stamps earned, rewards redeemed, and the merchant connected to those events.
  • Device and technical information such as IP address, browser, timestamps, diagnostic events, and security logs.
  • Information needed to issue or update an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass when you choose to use one.

03

How we use information

  • Provide accounts, wallet passes, loyalty balances, rewards, and support.
  • Authenticate users, prevent misuse, investigate incidents, and protect the service.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve QPoint.
  • Send service messages and other communications you request or permit.
  • Meet legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

04

When information is shared

We may share information with the merchant whose loyalty program you joined, with service providers that help us host, secure, communicate, or operate QPoint, and with Apple or Google when needed to deliver a wallet pass. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information.

05

Retention and security

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this policy, including account operation, transaction records, dispute handling, security, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by data type and context.

We use organizational and technical safeguards designed to protect personal data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please protect your credentials and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

06

Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to be informed about processing, access or correct your data, object to certain processing, request erasure or blocking, obtain portable data where applicable, or raise a complaint. The Philippine National Privacy Commission explains these rights in more detail.

We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law or a valid business need requires it. To make a request, use the support channel in your account or the contact route described below.

07
